The Most Foundational Document: The U.S. Constitution

The Most Foundational Document: The U.S. Constitution
As you know in our study of the AP® U.S. Government, there are nine Foundational Documents. But one of these towers among the rest: the U.S. Constitution.

In this video, I will discuss why I believe this document is so important in our delivery of AP® Government to our students, and will share a sample of how to organize your study of the Constitution during the course. I suggest that this is covered towards the beginning of the school year, as it touches all five units and is pivotal in FRQ #4, the Argumentative Essay.

This blog also serves as precursor to a future post that will provide a hands-on activity focusing on the ratification of the U.S. Constitution.

I have provided my contact information below. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Enjoy!
